It's a time to turn inward and find what you have been looking for "out there." It's about experiencing wholeness and the truth within.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is not and "outside fix" another effort in the long series of efforts to get something or do something that erases that underlying feeling that something about us needs to be fixed. In other words 40 Days is not a Madison Avenue experience. This revolution is an inside job!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What do I mean by Madison Avenue?  Any effective salesperson can tell you that the best sales pitch is to get the consumer to focus on a personal problem, and then to offer a solution… at a price. The modern human, swimming in a sea of media, is saturated with constant sales pitches that point out our innumerable flaws -- not good looking enough, not wealthy enough, not smart enough, not sexy enough, not you-name-it enough! Consequently, many of us have a baseline feeling of vague unease, or even intense anxiety -- something is wrong with us (so we  think!) and we've got to find what will fix us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The answer is, it's not something you can obtain… because you already have it. Wholeness and wisdom are already inherently yours. 40 Days is a time to uncover your wholeness and listen to your inner wisdom.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Forty Days is not a "reform" program -- though the program does require discipline, it is not about some set formula of actions you must take in order to recreate yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's about taking responsibility for yourself, and looking honestly within, and with gentle curiosity and finding out what you already know, but have been covering over with expectations about what "should be." This is Lora, one of the teachers at BTY.  I am looking forward to seeing all of you in Yoga class, as you &lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;begin your journey towards your own personal revolution.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt;  I have been studying this book for months now, and using the laws of transformation, presented in the first third of the book, as &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;inspiration&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; for many of my classes leading up to the new year, 2010.  The &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;profound quotes&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; in the book have prompted many a meditation for myself, and the students that have been a part of my classes on &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; at the studio.
